| Dear Friends of the Danish American Society, |

| Jørgen Lorentzen and I were recently elected as the Danish American Society's Vice President and President. Both of us are legacy DAS. By this I mean that we each had Parents that served as Presidents in the past. I believe that we have taken on this task because we grew up with respect for DAS's mission and want to do what we can to ensure it's continuation. |

| In these trying times, it has never been more relevant to have an organisation that celebrates and embraces our heritage. This Society allows us to be social with events such as Person of the Year, the Queen's Birthday, Morten's aften, to be cultural supporters via DANCE and to include the next generation with our holiday parties. Danish American Society has played an important role in safe-guarding our culture on this side of the Atlantic for the past 50 years. |

| DAS can only be as good as what we invest in it. So please on behalf of this fantastic organization, I encourage you to get involved. Let's leave an even stronger Danish American Society for generations to come. |
