| Biography of Giovanni Villalobos |

| Giovanni Villalobos was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. He began studying ballet at age eight at Taller de Varones. He attended summer courses at the School of American Ballet (SAB), the official school of New York City Ballet, in 2000 and 2001, and became a full time student that fall. In June 2004 he became an apprentice with NYCB and joined the corps de ballet in July 2005. |
| Mr. Villalobos has performed featured roles in: George Balanchine's George Balanchine's The Nutcracker (Chinese, Soldier, Candy Cane) and Eliot Feld's A Stair Dance. |
| Mr. Villalobos has originated a corps role in Jerome Robbins' N.Y. Export: Opus Jazz (NYCB premiere) and Christopher Wheeldon's An American in Paris. |
| He is also a is a 2003 recipient of the Mae L. Wien Award. |
