| Currently at Carolina Ballet, Ms. O'Brien has danced many corps and featured roles including Arabian in Nutcracker, one of the Four Ladies in Messiah and the lead role in the Ugly Duckling, which was created on her by Lynne Taylor-Corbett. |

| Lara is 18 years old and comes from Woodstock, Illinois, near Chicago. She trained at the School of Ballet Chicago before coming to SAB in the summer of 1999, and she continues in level C-2 of the current Winter Term. Before her enrollment at SAB, Lara performed for three years with the Youth Company of Ballet Chicago under Daniel Duell. She lives in the School´s residence hall and is completing her high school education through the University of Nebraska´s correspondence program. |
