Biography of Nicolai Hansen
Nicolai Hansen was born in 1980. He was trained at the Ballet School of the Royal Danish Theatre. He became an apprentice in 1997, and in 1999 he joined the corps de ballet at the Royal Danish Ballet, where he was appointed Soloist in 2004.
Nicolai Hansen has danced e.g. Pas de sept in A Folk Tale, Abdallah, Don Quixote, The Merry Widow, Swan Lake, Gaité Parisienne, Legs of Fire, Napoli, Suite en Blanc, Capriccio for Piano and Orchestra and La Sylphide.
Nicolai Hansen was awarded the Bartholin Foundation Grant in 2000.
